Jenny Saik    /    jes3mt@virginia.edu    /    Detailed CV

I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia in May, 2007. I joined the Peirce laboratory as a 4th year undergraduate student in Biomedical Engineering. My research interests include microvascular tissue engineering, and I worked with my teammate, Alexis Bailey, to complete a Senior Thesis and BME Capstone Design Project aimed at labeling and tracking human adipose-derived stromal cells in vivo. I enjoy riding horses for the Virginia Riding Team and watching UVA basketball! I am originally from Columbus, OH. Next year I plan to attend Rice University to obtain a PhD in Bioengineering.
