Research Interests: I am interested in the hemodynamics of leukocyte deformation and adhesion to post capillary venules in the microvasculature. Using a micro-Particle Tracking Velocimetry (uPTV) method, I working on measuring the local fluid dynamics near adhered and rolling leukocytes in the murine cremaster muscle. These measurements are crucial to our understanding of the effect of fluid shear stress in inflammatory responses. |
