Lawrence Lab Equipment

Flow Chamber

We frequently employ Glycotech flow chambers to investigate the biophysics of leukocyte and delivery vector interactions with a target surface.

Videomicroscopy

Microscopes
· A Nikon Diaphot 300 with brightfield and phase contrast modes.
· A Nikon Eclipse TE 300 with brightfield, DIC, and epifluorescent modes.
Cameras
· A Photron Fastcam PCI-R2 high-speed digital CCD camera capable of imaging at up to 1 kHz.
· A Cooke Sensicam QE for low signal fluorescence applications.
· A Canon HV20 camcorder for HD recording directly to digital format.
· A Dage-MTI CCD-72S analog camera with a removable image intensifier for recording to standard videotape.
· A ViCON VC2410 analog camera for recording to standard videotape.

Electron Microscopy

· We utilize SEM and TEM services at The Advanced Microscopy Facility.

Flow Cytometry

· We use state of the art FACS equipment at The Flow Cytometry Core Facility.

High Performance Computing

· We employ multi-processor resources for computational modeling of adhesion biophysics and signaling with The Dogwood Linux Cluster.

Microfluidics

· We use photolithography equipment for building microfluidic devices at The Microfabrication Laboratory.
